Resilient and responsive health systems for a changing world
Like the societies of which they are a part, health systems face constant new challenges. They must maintain a focus on health improvement even as they absorb unexpected shocks, respond to emerging needs and take advantage of new opportunities. There will be over one hundred 90-minute concurrent sessions planned within the programme. Approximately half of these concurrent sessions will be allocated to ‘organized sessions’ and the other half will be based on ‘individual abstracts’. Abstracts for organized sessions and individual presentations were open from October 2015 until January and March, 2016. These sessions are to be linked to the following sub-themes:

2016 EV4GH call is launched!
A new edition of Emerging Voices for Global Health (EV4GH) has been launched in close association and partnership with the Fourth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research. EV4GH is a multi-partner blended training programme for young, promising and emerging health policy and systems researchers, decision-makers and other health system professionals with an interest to become influential global health voices and local change-makers.
