Every two years, the Global Symposium on Health Systems Research brings together the full range of players involved in health systems and policy research from around the world. There is currently no other international gathering that serves the needs of this community. The previous iteration of the Symposium, which took place in Cape Town in 2014, brought together over 2,000 leading global thinkers on health systems.
At the Fourth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (November 14–18, 2016, Vancouver, Canada) we will confront questions of how health systems can absorb shocks, respond to emerging needs and take advantage of new opportunities in the face of emerging challenges. We will also collectively engage and interrogate opportunities and modalities of innovation, transformation and resilience in health systems in all their diverse realities.
By participating in Vancouver, you will be able to share your unique point of view and innovative ideas on strengthening health systems and engage in dialogue with a diverse community, ranging from high-level policy makers, researchers and donors to practitioners and advocates on the ground. You will get the chance to learn from and network with leading experts, participate in skills building sessions and discover new tools that will help to increase the impact of your work.
Registration for the Fourth Global Symposium is available here.
We hope to see you in Vancouver!
