ACC Liverpool is situated on a stunning waterside location in the heart of Liverpool city center. There is an array of amenities within a 15-minute walk, including the Grade 1 listed Albert Dock (home to Tate Liverpool, the Beatles Story and offering a diverse range of cafés and restaurants), Liverpool ONE shopping center and the terminal for the famous Mersey ferry.

ACC Liverpool’s central location means everything is within walking distance, however the venue is very well served by circular bus routes, rail, underground and an extensive motorway network. The city’s main railway station (Lime Street) is just a 20-minute walk (or a 5-minute taxi ride) from ACC Liverpool.

Getting to the ACC

ACC Liverpool is located on the Liverpool waterfront next to the Albert Dock. It is easily accessible via rail, road and air and has ample car parking for delegates.

From the airport

A taxi from the airport to the city center will take around 20 minutes and costs approximately £20. The express bus service Route 500 costs around £5 and will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a 5-minute walk of ACC Liverpool. See the bus Route 500 timetables.

Walking

Walking from the city center to the ACC will take approximately 20 minutes. There is no better way to experience the life, architecture and friendly nature of the city’s people. ACC Liverpool, Liverpool ONE retail area and the Waterfront Boulevard are pedestrianized areas that link to each other.

By bus

The Liverpool ONE retail development bus station is just 5 minutes’ walk from ACC Liverpool, which offers long distance coach services for delegates.

Local services take delegates to the city centre where a convenient shuttle bus service connects to ACC Liverpool. Most Liverpool city centre-bound buses call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk or shuttle bus connection) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a 5-minute walk from ACC Liverpool.

The CityLink Route C4 shuttle bus links Queen Square bus station, James Street rail station and Liverpool ONE Bus Station to ACC Liverpool. It operates every 30 minutes, seven days a week, between 7am and 8pm. Get up-to-date information about your bus service.

By train

ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or approximately a 5-minute taxi ride. There is a large taxi rank at Liverpool Lime Street station with taxis readily available. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10-minute walk) or catch the CityLink bus which runs every 12 minutes as a circular service around the city centre and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool. By car

From the North: Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to the end of M58 and take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.

From the South: Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Land, picking up and following signs for the Waterfront.

Car parking: There are plenty of secure, inexpensive car parking options available for visitors to ACC Liverpool. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted ‘Waterfront’ on the city-wide ‘available spaces’ signage. There is a 2.1m maximum vehicle height for Liverpool Waterfront Car Park.
