Health Systems Global

Health Systems Global (HSG) is a diverse, global membership organization of researchers, decision-makers and implementers who are dedicated to promoting health policy and systems research (HPSR) and knowledge generation.  HSG organizes a symposium every two years to bring together its members with the full range of players involved in health systems and policy research. There is currently no other international gathering that serves the needs of this community.

Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research

The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR) is an international collaboration hosted by the World Health Organization. It promotes the generation and use of health policy and systems research as a means to improve the health systems of low- and middle-income countries.

The Universidad de Antioquia (U. de A.) is the most important institution of higher education in Antioquia (Colombia). Founded in 1803, it is recognized as one of the best universities in the country. Universidad de Cartagena, also called Unicartagena, is a public, departmental, coeducational, research university based primarily in the city of Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia. The university offers education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which includes two doctorates.
The university is a member of the Association of Colombian Universities (ASCUN), the Iberoamerican Association of Postgraduate Universities (AUIP), and the State University System (Spanish: Sistema Universitario Estatal, SUE). The Hospital Universitario San Ignacio

The Hospital Universitario San Ignacio is a 4th level university hospital in Bogotá, Colombia. It is located within the campus of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and hosts the school’s faculties of Medicine, Nursing and Dentistry. The hospital offers nearly all fields in medical expertise and has been home to several recognized physicians including neurologist Rodolfo Llinás and anesthesiologist Alejandro Jadad. Its ample resources and reach to the Downtown and northeast areas of the capital city make it a valuable model institution across all fields.

The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogota and Cali) is a private higher education institution founded in 1623. It is one of the oldest, most traditional, and prestigious Colombian universities, directed by the Society of Jesus, committed to the educational principles and guidelines of the founding entity. It exercises teaching, research, and service with excellence, as a university integrated to a country of regions, with a global and interdisciplinary perspective. In the QS World University Rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds, it has been ranked among the 500 best universities in the world, the top 20 in Latin America and 3rd in Colombia.
